The Irene Rolo Foundation will host a round table called: “Rights of people with disabilities: April is now!”, on April 9th, at 3pm, at the Álvaro de Campos Municipal Library, in Tavira.
It will be an opportunity to reflect on the progress achieved with the April revolution and the challenges of the present and future, with a view to the full participation and respect of all citizens, regardless of their abilities.
The speakers in this initiative will be: Carla Pires (President of the Board of Directors of the Irene Rolo Foundation), Maria Helena Martins (Assistant Professor at UAlg), Jorge Leitão (President of the Algarve Association – AAPACDM), Nelson Gonçalves (Telephonist at CMT), Karina Kaupe (Psychologist). The round table will be organized by Henrique Dias Freire (Director of Postal do Algarve).
As part of this initiative, we will also have a moment of dance under the responsibility of the Center for Activities and Training for Inclusion at the Irene Rolo Foundation.
We believe it will be an enriching and inspiring moment about the connection between history, human rights and inclusion.
