The Irene Rolo Foundation opened its latest social response on July 1, 2024, at 3 pm, located in the Irene Rolo Foundation complex. This is an Autonomization and Inclusion Residence, aimed at people with disabilities, aged 18 or over, who, through support in their autonomy and inclusion project, can transition, whenever possible, to alternative life solutions in the community.
This symbolic act was attended by the President of the Municipality of Tavira and the Director of Social Security of Faro, among other individuals.
The three new residents who received the keys to the Residence yesterday will define, together with the technical team, their Individual Autonomization Plans, according to their interests, habits, needs and expectations. The inclusive residential support model will encompass the development of skills necessary to live at home and in the community.
