End of cycle of sculpture exhibitions, “Da Serra ao Mar”, in São Brás de Alportel

The exhibition “From the mountains to the sea”, touring the Algarve, has already visited several cities, namely Tavira, Faro and Portimão. It is now open to the public, at the Municipal Gallery of São Brás de Alportel, until the end of December.

In this exhibition, the Irene Rolo Foundation highlights the artistic potential of people with disabilities, with whom it works. Always with the conviction that this is also a way of contributing to social inclusion.

The unlikely mix of materials such as: clay, wire, paper, tree branches, cork, among others, gave rise to sculptures that take us back to the diversity of the sea and the mountains.

This will be the last exhibition dedicated to the theme, and we are already preparing a new cycle of exhibitions for the year 2024.
