Irene Rolo Foundation promotes exhibition of sculptures

The Irene Rolo Foundation promotes a sculpture exhibition called “Trilhos da serra e da inclusão” (Trails of the mountains and inclusion), which will be open to the public from 15/11/22 to 09/12/22, at Tavira Gran-Plaza Shopping Centre. This activity is framed within the project “From the Mountain to the Sea”, financed by Rota Solidária – Associação Teia D’Impulsos.

The improbable mixture of materials such as: clay, wire, paper, tree branches, cork, among others, gave body to sculptures that take us to landscapes and experiences of our mountains.

Involving disabled people in the production of these works is an opportunity to develop their personal and social skills. We also want the public to recognise the artistic potential of people with disabilities. When we focus on what each person can do and not on their disability, we contribute to social inclusion.
