The Personal Data Protection Law (hereinafter "LPDP") and the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation EU 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, hereinafter "GDPR"), ensure the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data. Personal data is legally considered to be any "information relating to an identified or identifiable person ("the data owner"); an identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier, such as a name, an identification number, location data, electronic identifiers, or to one or more factors specific to that person's physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity. By accepting this Privacy Policy the user provides informed, express, free and unambiguous consent for the personal data provided through the fir.pt site to be included in a file under the responsibility of the Irene Rolo Foundation, whose processing in terms of legislation on protection of personal data meets the appropriate technical and organizational security measures. The Irene Rolo Foundation maintains a database with the registration of its customers composed only by the personal data provided by the data owner at the time of registration, which are automatically collected and processed by the Foundation, entity responsible for the treatment of personal data. In no case will personal data on racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, political opinions, trade union membership, data concerning health and sex life, genetic data, biometric data or data concerning sex life or sexual orientation be requested. Under no circumstances will the Irene Rolo Foundation carry out any of the following activities with the personal data provided through this site, without the express prior consent of the data owner: - Transfer to other persons or other entities; - Transfer outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
The personal data processed through this website will only be used for the following purposes: -- Communication and clarifications; -- Processing of requests for information; -- Communication of actions, activities and initiatives developed by the Foundation in order to raise public awareness of this cause. Irene Rolo Foundation guarantees the confidentiality of all data provided. Nevertheless, the Foundation Irene Rolo can proceed to the collection and processing of data in a secure way and to prevent its loss or manipulation, using the most appropriate techniques for this purpose. It is important to keep in mind that the collection of data in open networks, allows the circulation of personal data without security conditions, with the risk of being seen and used by unauthorized third parties. Failure to respond to data marked as mandatory, implies the impossibility of responding to the request of the data owner.
The Irene Rolo Foundation declares that it has implemented and will continue to implement the security measures of a technical and organizational type necessary to guarantee the security of the personal data provided to it, in order to prevent their alteration, loss, treatment and/or unauthorized access, taking into account the current state of technology, the type of data stored and the risks to which they are exposed. Irene Rolo Foundation guarantees the confidentiality of the data provided through this website. All data will be entered on a secure server that encrypts/encodes them (transforms them into a code). You can check that your browser is secure if the lock symbol appears or if the address starts with https instead of http. Personal data is treated with the legally required level of protection to ensure their security and prevent alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorized access, taking into account the state of technology, with the user being aware and accepting that Internet security measures are not impregnable. Whenever the Foundation Irene Rolo accesses personal data, it is committed to: -- Store them through legally required security measures, of a technical and organizational kind, that guarantee their security, thus avoiding alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorized access, in accordance with the state of technology at each moment, the type of data and the possible risks to which they are exposed; -- Use the data only for the purposes previously defined; -- Ensure that the data is processed only by collaborators whose intervention is necessary to meet the request of the data owner, who are bound to the duty of secrecy and confidentiality. If the information may be disclosed to third parties for these purposes, they shall be required to maintain the necessary confidentiality in accordance with the provisions of this document.
One of the purposes for which personal data provided by users are processed is to send electronic communications containing commercial and promotional information. All communications of this type will be addressed exclusively to users who have given prior and express authorization. If the user wishes to stop receiving communications about the initiatives, events and activities developed by the Irene Rolo Foundation, he can express his opposition at any time by sending an email to geral@fir.pt or writing to Rua Feixinho de Vides, n.º 19, 8800-365 Tavira.
To ensure the security and privacy of the user, when making donations (occasionally or regularly), the Foundation Irene Rolo uses online services provided by Easypay - Instituição de Pagamento Lda, properly identified.
